Tsepelovo

Tsepelovo, is the largest village of Zagori, but also in extent. It is built at an altitude of 1080 m and its unique architecture and culture make it one of the most traditional villages of Zagori. It is located within the 3 best tourist destinations in the area since it has the visitor's need. It is a base for all the other villages as it is in the heart of Zagorohoria.

Traditional tavernas, café-bars, traditional shops, folk art and sports venues will satisfy your every wish.
The old mansion houses, many of which are saved and inhabited even today, leave the visitor speechless with their architecture and finesse.

It is worth visiting the village's main church, Agios Nikolaos, which is one of the few fully hagiographed throughout Greece. The village square with its two imposing plateaux is one of the most beautiful in the region, where every year the traditional feast. Tsepelovo is the home of the great Greek actor Marika Kotopouli and the friendly Konstantinos Roudos, while the tomb of the poet Ioannis Vilaras is located here. In our village there is a room where works of the famous Tsepelovite painter Petros Papavassiliou are exhibited, as well as a photography exhibition with material that depicts the history, customs and customs of Zagori. Also in Tsepelovo there is a part of the Higher School of Fine Arts.
